Hello, we are developing a merchandise management system and more and more customers are looking for an interface to an online shop over the years. We only program in C# and use the Microsoft SQL Server for our databases. Now we need a global interface to process data from our program or our SQL database to the shop system and vice versa. The data exchange should be manual and automatic as well as bidirectional in both directions. The interface should work for the big shop systems like WooCommerce, Shopware and Magento! A friendly developer has told me that the differences between the mentioned shop systems are very small and with an interface possibly all shops could be served. We need a uniquely annotated C# code and data form to define and store the source and target data. Various "projects" can be saved here in order to be able to use existing matching patterns again and again. Most importantly, communication must work both ways. In the rest of the design and implementation we are completely free and would like to be impressed by the functionality. Requirements for the interface: 1. Copy Products from our C#-Software or SQL Database to WooCommerce 2. Copy Products from WooCommerce to our C#-Software or SQL Database 3. Copy Orders from WooCommerce to our C#-Software or SQL Database 4. Copy Customers from WooCommerce to our C#-Software or SQL Database 5. Copy Stock from our C#-Software or SQL Database to WooCommerce 6. Copy stock from WooCommerce to our C#-Software or SQL Database 7. Modify any individual columns in our C#-Software or SQL Database to WooCommerce 8. Hello Horst, I am interested and would like to discuss further this project with you. Your friendly developer is correct in some ways that the differences between shop systems are fairly small, but they all still require their own changes. There is no single setup that will work for them all - imagine how much easier this would be if there was just 1 way of doing things! I have 10+ years C# and MSSQL experience so can cover the programming side without concerns. I don't have much experience with WooCommerce/Shopware/Salesforce/Magento however, but taking a look into the API's they provide they seem to be a similar breed. My major career achievement so far was running a streaming music video service that was available in 19 territories. This was a mix of JAVA/C# projects, communicating with MSSQL. We had CMS, Windows applications, JAVA services, Android applications, Smart TV and HTML5 apps. I have also done plenty of integrations with 3rd parties like advertisers and content companies so reading and following API's is OK. So please reach out if you would like to discuss further. I would like to know if it is a windows application or a website, or perhaps even an Android application that you are after? Also taking a look into the products you currently maintain and the format would help me to better understand the project and provide a more accurate breakdown and project map.
