Metaldog has recently been asked to produce a lifestyle web site for swingers. The format for the web site will be very similar to [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], and swingersdateclub.com. A kind of myspace ([url removed, login to view] for adults with paid, membership, the ability for users to decide who can view their pictures, and issue viewing passwords to other members as they choose. Real-time chat, with private whisper facility, visual who’s online and a few other key features. Visit some of the sites above and get a free registration to get a better idea. It needs the best functionality of these sites with a few extra goodies. We intend to use Mambo Open Source as the framework for the site, developing plug-ins and modules only, in order to keep costs down. Metaldog will oversee the styling of the site and the user experience. There are already ports of OS Commerce for Mambo (see [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]) and a PayPal based paid member script by Phil taylor ([url removed, login to view]) that could be adapted to work with OS Commerce.
