I can't effect changes in style for all theme and all plugins through the child style sheet. Am unable to get the child theme sheet to load last - am not sure if that's what needs to be done, but that's what I could identify as the problem.
When I use Chrome's "Reload CSS" extension, I can see the changes I'm attempting to make - but they are not visible on refresh - despite clearing the browser cache or flushing the cache through the server.
What I want to be able to do:
1. Control style for all plugins and parent theme through child theme style sheet.
2. Ensure that stylesheet changes can go live upon refresh (auto versioning?) and not get stuck in the cache.
I have attempted to do both of these things myself and just need someone to get in there and do it right, so I can get on with the business of getting my site launched.
I am testing an idea - and if it works, I will have much bigger jobs available for someone who I work with well.
For now, I have three smaller jobs to make this clunky site work as well as it can given the number of plugins:
addressing this issue with the css
optimizing speed so users don't get frustrated
addressing some navigation issues to get between functional areas (offered by different plugins) more smoothly.
