I have already created a brand logo, name, and have drafted sketches of both a shirt and a pair of pants that I would like to have manufactured. My vision is to create a shirt/pair of pants that is adventure-ready and is geared towards warmer weather. I would like to incorporate durable, light, and weather resistant fabrics such as nylon and polyester and blend them with a small % of cotton. While many outdoor brands such as Patagonia and North Face also do this, they tend to focus more on alpine jackets and vests. I would like to implement the tactical elements of a jacket on a lighter shirt and make it look more aesthetically pleasing rather than so technical and nerdy. SHIRT--> As far as materials go I would like to use Nylon or Polyester blended with Elastane to give the feel of the Columbia PFG fishing shirts. As far as the design goes, I would like to pretty much combine two shirts ([login to view URL] and [login to view URL]). I want to pretty much take the design of 2247 but instead of it being long sleeved, I want to turn it into a short sleeve with cotton ribbed elastic cuffs. I just don't know if you can sow these cotton cuffs onto the nylon/polyester shell of the shirt. PANTS--> The materials used in the pants will be similar as the shirt. The waist will have a ribbed elastic form with drawstrings. I would not mind adding also a snap on button and crotch zipper as well. The pants will be joggers in the sense that they will have ribbed cotton cuffs by the ankles similar to the arm cuffs on the shirt. I would also like to add two zippered and angled pockets on the sides as well as two cargo velcro pockets below. If it is possible to make the pants with nylon or polyester with a small amount of cotton and elastane or spandex for stretch while adding a slightly thicker material in the knee region that is even stretchier, this would be conducive to the adventurous practicality that I am trying to incorporate. I have added pictures below. Please, only contact me if you are proficient with manufacturing clothes using these materials. Like I said, while I am aiming at a good looking shirt and pair of pants, the quality of construction and practicality comes first. These are pockets for adventure, not for fashion statement. Thank you and I hope to find the most suitable person for this project! My goal is to render my sketches into proportionate designs on a computer software and then have raw samples made to tweak them until they are ready for bulk production.
