I am reasonably new to python and programming. Although I have completed some python projects I am slightly confused with its relationship to the terminal. In the process of understanding the terminal I have done significant reading but this has led to some further confusion to how to set it up properly. I've recently changed from the bash to zsh, but think this has messed up my terminal structure.

I would like for someone to assist in my understanding of how to operate/optimise the terminal, create and access virtual environments and answer a few more related questions.
