Convert an Arduino C+ sketch to Python 2.7

I want to use a ADS1262 adc with a Raspberry Pi mini-computer and I want to not have to also use an Arduino board. The only program I found for the ADS1262 is on Github and its written for an Arduino. I do already have a working ADS1262 unit connected to an Arduino and it works fine. There is a .cpp file (about 100 lines), a .h file (about 50 lines), and a .ino sketch file (about 20 lines) written in C+.
Let me be clear. I simply want to connect the ADS1262 directly to a Raspberry Pi and print voltage readings. You do not have to use the Arduino code. If you can figure out how to do this using your adc knowledge, and the ADS1262 datasheet, then that's great.
