Corporate Information Systems IT Application Development Acts as the source of information technology solution definition (design) and delivery (development and testing) for Tally's customer, partners and employees. The team delivers technology to efficiently and effectively drive Tally's operations which includes but not limited to partner management, customer relationship management, HRIS and Product License Management. The team also concentrates on emerging-mode projects and services that require experimentation and rapid iteration. Together we shape strategies for applying technology to deliver business results Designation: Software Engineer (Contract) Function/Group: CIS – Corporate Information Systems Experience: 3 - 5 yrs What will you be doing?  To review and understand the business requirements and technical specification documents  Design the application as per technical specification document  Development of modules/web services/applications as per the design (Front end as well as the backend)  Able to access/manipulate the data in the relational database  Optimization of queries that would be used in the application  Creation of unit test plans and unit testing  Participate in requirements/design/code/test case reviews  Provide estimates related to the task/module/project Who are we looking for?  Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Hands on experience on Angular JS would be an added advantage  Proficient knowledge of back-end programming languages - Python(primary), and PHP (secondary)  User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments  Proficient understanding and hands on experience of writing scalable Web services  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git  Proficient understanding of AWS and cloud management  Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment  Proficient understanding of Rapid Development and hands on experience in web frameworks like Django for Python or Laravel for PHP
