I would need help to develop a script to use any one of the news APIs out there to download historical news for a particular key word on a particular date.... There are several news APIs available. Here is just a list of some of them I came across. [login to view URL] I just need to use any news API to be able to go back at least 3 years. And be able to grab news, especially financial news, for a particular company on a particular day.... I would prefer to use an API that is free, since this is for personal use and there is no commercial use for it. Also, I would like the end script to be some sort of a python script, so I can use it with rest of my Jupyter notebook.

I will use the NY Times New API as it has multiple search filters and I have used it before in a course project during my graduation. Can customize the interface according to your needs and skills to make it easy for you to use. Will parse the data into a readable format and store it on a particular file sorted with date, time and the source. May also use other APIs if news from different sources is required.
