I notice you're looking for a person who thinks logically and scientifically, rather than an experienced developer who is not very smart. Well, I think I am both.
Even though I am young (17 years old), I have been involved in software development since I was 12 years old, so I'm not new to this field. I worked under pressure on a lot of complicated problems when I was 13-14 years old, when I developed a computer vision system for an Automatic Optical Inspection Machine that is now being used by a company for defect detection in electronic components — on my own.
I have been using Python as my main programming language, so I'm pretty good at it. I'm fast at learning skills that involve logical and mathematical thinking, so MicroPython won't be a problem. I know Git, Django, NumPy, OpenCV, Tensorflow, C++, Arduino and many more languages and technologies that I've learned since I started programming.
Although I have experience and knowledge, I've never had a formal job, so I consider this project as a good opportunity to enter the labor market.
