Vision project - C# Emgu HED

Job Description:
The task is to implement HED (Holistically-Nested Edge Detection) not in python, but in Emgu C#. So far, we've only found ways to use HED from python, but we need to be able to use HED directly from Emgu C#. We're looking for an HED wrapper we can use with C# Emgu Images (which are wrapped OpenCV Mats), that does not involve python.
We're using python now in a client/server arrangement and that is too slow. So we would like to do it all in our existing C# application.
Your job will be to make a VisualStudio 2017 C# solution which takes an image as input, and from that, produces an HED image as output. Without a GPU, we're hoping to achieve throughput of greater than one frame per second. In C#, without Python.
Please assure me you are able to deliver all of these:
a) VisualStudio 2017 C# solution
b) using Emgu
c) HED in Emgu … You will need to understand how it is done in python, like, [login to view URL]
HED is implemented as a pre-trained Caffe net which python can use (if built with a recent cv2).
This example may be helpful because it shows how to read and use a Caffe net using C#/Emgu: [login to view URL]
For HED, you will also need to be able to implement a custom crop layer, and register it. (You can follow the python example as a guide.)
