Hi there.
I'll be happy to work with you on your desk across several stages. If you have some ideas of your own, I'd welcome lots of input into the project. But if you'd rather, I can develop the product independently to meet your product specification. I'll be developing your product using Fusion 360, where I can model in 3D, simulate (e.g. stress test), texture and render, and plan for manufacture (we can set up parts for 3D printing, CNC machining, etc). The final design will also come with detailed 2D construction drawings.
If you're starting with a blank canvas, I'll start off with a mood board of existing products for ideas.
We'll move onto some mock-up designs in 3D, once we have an idea of what you like, or we'll start with this if you have a fairly good idea already.
Then we can start focussing on smaller aesthetic details and certain features you'd like your desk to have. Using 3D files fro the McMaster catalogue, we'll be able to make sure the design is suitable for assembly with standard component nuts/bolts, for example.
With a final design complete, we can make any necessary adjustments to make the product feasible for manufacture and end-use.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'd appreciate if you could send me a message so that we can discuss your project in further detail.
Look forward to hearing from you.
James Scott
