I'm a senior software developer with more than 25 years of experience on generating desktop applications for Microsoft operating systems, look at my portfolio for some application developed by me. I have already worked several times with audio files, to achieve conversion, trimming, recording, playing and filtering. Furthermore I am an electronic engineer, so I have worked with amplifiers, preamplifiers, equalizers, sound effects, generators and I have played music a bit with instruments (acoustic and electric guitar, bass) and software. Hi, You need an application that let's you specify an audio file, a split length, and a silence length. The application scans the file for silences, attempting to split it into segments of the desired duration, with splits occurring during silence, not interrupting speech. You've thought of a couple other nice features which would be nice to have as well. I'd be happy to discuss this project with you! -Jefferson
