Good day, I am a student working on my final year project which involve using raspberry pi 3. I am a beginner that never used raspberry pi before. I am currently trying to get the serial port working with my bluetooth module HC-05 to transmit some data to another bluetooth terminal which run on my android phone I read online that the default serial port is used for console and I’ve followed the steps to disable serial port to console (via raspi-config/interfacing option/serial). However I am still unable to receive any data when doing a simple [login to view URL] with python. Really need to get this working to move on to the next step of my project. Any advise or help will be deeply appreciated. I have googled and tried to no avail.

Hi, I'm a qualified electrical engineer with many years experience and I'm fairly sure I know what your problem is from my past experience with Raspi's, particularly the Pi3B and ZeroW, I remember encountering something very similar, and believe I can send you the instructions for correcting directly. However I know the hardware quite well too so I'm happy to help & debug if that is not the solution straight away.
