To know more visit [login to view URL] Job Summary We are looking for a freelancer/consultant for the role of Software Architect with 5+ years of relevant experience in software development life cycle and its development technologies, who can assist us in designing of architecture for ROV system and improving our current ROV software system. Role and Responsibilities • To evaluate and identify software solutions in the ROV development • Responsible for understanding the ROV software requirements • Designing the architecture for the ROV system and improving the current ROV software system • Implementing the initial prototype architecture • Guiding the team with design choices in technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards • Documenting the project/module design patterns and methodologies Relevant Experience: 5+ yrs Knowledge/Competencies Required • Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies • Extensive knowledge in developing software which interfaces hardware. Example: frame capturing from cameras. • Knowledge in implementing design patterns in UML • Experience of working with web technologies as well OOPs concepts especially C++ • Plus point if the architect has knowledge in vision systems like video streaming and video processing • Experience in implementing client server architecture with user specific user interface • Experience of developing hardware firmware • Knowledge of latest technologies in web development; web server development Skills Required • Linux Device Driver development • Firmware Development • C++ developments • Architecture designing concepts - OOPS and web designing • Javascript • Nodejs • Full stack development • Latest web development technologies Deep understanding of the above mentioned skills is required for developing the ROV software.
