Hi there, I'd love to help teach your after-school chess club. First, I want to be upfront: I noticed you prefer a tutor based in India, but I am actually located in Turkey. However, our time zones are very close, so scheduling those three hours a week together will be completely seamless. Regarding my playing background, I hold a real-life Elo of 1750 and am rated over 2100 online. Since your ten students are pure beginners, I have more than enough playing strength to build a solid foundation for them. I can easily design a fun, age-appropriate curriculum that walks them through opening principles, tactical awareness, and endgame basics without overwhelming them. I prefer using Lichess studies for teaching. It’s highly interactive for the kids, and it makes it very easy for me to track their individual progress so I can give you clear, accurate monthly feedback. My English is also completely fluent, so keeping the group engaged and clearly explaining concepts will not be an issue. Let me know if you are open to working with a tutor just outside of India.
