I’m extending my Google Kubernetes Engine environment and want ArgoCD to become the backbone of our platform-engineering workflow. The immediate goal is to express the entire setup as Infrastructure as Code with Terraform so that every cluster, namespace, permission, and application deployment is reproducible from a Git repo. Key objectives • Design or refine Terraform modules that stand up GKE clusters, ArgoCD itself, and supporting Google Cloud resources. • Configure ArgoCD for GitOps-style Continuous Deployment, covering RBAC, automated sync policies, and application-level health checks. • Document the workflow end to end: repository structure, branch strategy, and promotion between environments. • Provide a concise runbook outlining how to roll back or promote releases through ArgoCD. Requirements: • More than 3 years of experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and ArgoCD. • Strong preference for freelancers with Google Cloud experience. I do not have a cluster running and need terraform code as well as ArgoCD integration. Deliverables are the Terraform code, any ArgoCD manifests or helm charts, and clear README-style instructions that let another engineer recreate the stack from scratch. If you have solid experience combining Terraform, GKE, and ArgoCD for platform engineering, let’s talk.

Hi, I understand you need a clean GKE platform setup built fully with Terraform, with ArgoCD as the main GitOps deployment layer. I can help create reusable Terraform code for the GKE cluster, namespaces, IAM/RBAC, ArgoCD install, and needed Google Cloud resources, then connect ArgoCD with Git so apps can sync from repo with clear rules, health checks, and safe promotion flow. I will also add ArgoCD manifests/Helm values and a simple README showing repo structure, branch flow, setup steps from zero, plus a short runbook for rollback and release promotion so another engineer can rebuild and operate it without guessing. Do you want the Terraform state stored in a GCS backend, and should I also include setup for remote state locking and service account permissions? Best regards,

Hi I can build a reproducible GKE platform-engineering stack using Terraform for clusters, namespaces, IAM/RBAC, ArgoCD installation, and application bootstrap from Git. My experience includes Google Cloud, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform modules, Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps workflows, Workload Identity, RBAC, CI/CD, and environment promotion patterns. The main technical risk is creating a stack where Terraform and ArgoCD overlap incorrectly, causing drift, unclear ownership, or unsafe promotion between environments. I will solve this by separating infrastructure provisioning from application delivery, using Terraform for GCP/GKE foundations and ArgoCD manifests or Helm charts for GitOps-managed workloads. I can configure ArgoCD projects, repositories, automated sync policies, health checks, RBAC, namespace boundaries, and rollback-friendly application structure. I have worked on similar Kubernetes platform setups where engineers could recreate clusters from a README and promote releases through Git without manual cluster changes. My approach is to create clean Terraform modules, a clear repo layout, environment-based overlays, and runbook documentation for bootstrap, sync, rollback, and promotion. Thanks, Hercules

Hi! Your push to lock down Google Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Terraform as the core stack is 100 percent the way to future-proof your infra. Getting RBAC and rollback right with ArgoCD usually trips people up — I’ve seen many teams miss full reproducibility between test and prod. I’ve set up this exact stack for a SaaS AI chatbot platform, with GitOps promotion and full cluster spin-up from a Git repo — including Terraform modules for GKE and ArgoCD, plus detailed runbooks for onboarding new apps. I’d build your modules so every cluster, namespace, and app is Git-driven. My docs are always step-by-step — clear repo structure, branch flow, rollback, and environment promotion you can hand straight to any new engineer. One question, just to get it right: do you want ArgoCD itself deployed via Helm or straight manifests? It changes the way I’d approach upgrades and config. Happy to share a demo repo setup and a sample rollback guide. You can also see some platform engineering work at work.techindika.com. — Pradeep

Hi, I can help you You want a clean setup that builds your clusters from code, installs the tools, and keeps apps in sync from a Git repo. I’ll set up the pieces so you can create, change, and roll back with simple steps, and give you clear notes so any teammate can repeat it. This will take a few days, I've been doing this type of work for years. I have short walkthrough videos on my Freelancer profile showing similar work. 1) Do you have a cloud account and repo already, or should I set those up too? 2) What should the final setup include on day one, and how should changes move from test to live? Ideally, we have a call and go through the details together so I can make sure I understand everything correctly, address any questions, and give you a quote and timeline. Would that work? So you need GKE clusters, ArgoCD, and supporting Google Cloud resources fully expressed in Terraform. Everything reproducible from one Git repo. That is the real win. I would build modular Terraform for the cluster, node pools, IAM, and networking. ArgoCD goes in through Helm with values pinned in code. Then I wire RBAC, automated sync, and per app health checks. For promotion I use folder per environment with a clear branch strategy. The runbook covers rollback through ArgoCD history and promotion via pull requests.

Hi, This is a strong fit for a Google Cloud platform engineering project where the goal is to make the full GKE and ArgoCD setup reproducible from Git using Terraform. I would structure the work around reusable Terraform modules for GKE, networking, IAM, namespaces, service accounts, ArgoCD installation, RBAC, and application deployment foundations. Once the cluster layer is reproducible, I would configure ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous deployment with automated sync policies, health checks, controlled promotion between environments, and clear rollback procedures. The key area I would handle carefully is repository and environment structure, because GitOps only works well when Terraform state, ArgoCD applications, secrets strategy, branch promotion, and access controls are organized from the beginning. I have experience with Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Terraform, ArgoCD, CI/CD, GitOps workflows, IAM/RBAC, Helm, environment promotion, and infrastructure documentation. I can deliver the Terraform code, ArgoCD manifests/Helm configuration, repo structure recommendations, README setup steps, and a practical runbook for deployment, rollback, and release promotion.

Hello, this is a straightforward platform-engineering build: stand up GKE from Terraform, layer ArgoCD on top, and make the repo the source of truth for cluster and app state. The real engineering risk is drawing the boundary between bootstrap infrastructure, cluster services, and application promotion so GitOps stays reproducible instead of becoming a pile of circular dependencies. I’ve built several production systems where long-term operability mattered more than the initial deploy, and I usually structure these so another engineer can recreate and run the platform without tribal knowledge. The closest relevant work here is Enterprise ProxyTool Client App for control-plane architecture and Dent-Cloud for production SaaS design with RBAC and operational separation. I’d approach this by separating foundation Terraform, cluster bootstrap, and Argo-managed application state. That keeps cluster creation deterministic while avoiding the common mistake of mixing one-time provisioning with continuously reconciled resources. For this kind of system, I also define health checks, sync behavior, and rollback paths early, because promotion logic is where most GitOps setups get brittle. If useful, I can sketch the repo layout, environment promotion model, and bootstrap sequence for GKE plus ArgoCD before implementation. Clifton
