I see you need both static and dynamic-impact FEA analyses done on your toe cap (sounds like a useful improvement btw; I have heard that the pure steel toe caps can produce a sharp failure surface that can cut a person's toes off when overloaded). I assume that for the plastic component you're using carbon-fiber reinforced plastic or glass-fiber reinforced plastic? (If not, I'd highly recommend it and I'd be happy to advise on design and manufacture as I've got a Master's in Polymer and Fiber Engineering from Auburn University) Why pick me? Well, I've been working with FEA simulations for many years, and frankly I don't think this one will be too difficult (people are way overbidding for it I think). As far as composite simulations go, I have worked with composite layups and chopped-fiber composites (which are weaker) in ANSYS FEA; also, I have simulated metal parts that are heat treated in ways that give them different properties over their geometry (e.g. case hardening), although I would recommend a more ductile heat treatment to prevent the toe-chopping-off phenomenon I mentioned earlier. I have performed "explicit" FEA (i.e. impact-based simulations involving material failure, drop tests, etc.) in the excellent solver LS-Dyna. (Some competitors may use SolidWorks' crappy solver) I have also been working with 3D models of full shoes for my own PhD research, so if you have a model of your shoe as well as the toe cap I can work with that no problem.
