I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too).
I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc.
I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch.
1 - besides the pdf with the general dimensions of the nisan truck to be used for this project, i will also need a clear drawing with the holes in the chassis in order to see where to anchor the overlaying structure
2 - what kind of profile would you prefer for the structure? (i will recommend square/rectangular tubes as they are easier to process while building the cage)
3 - i will need a layout with all required compartments, drawers, storage space, etc
4 - the assembly will be made to be welded, use rivets and rivnuts for a more efficient manufacturing process
5 - the delivery will be the entire assembly (without the truck), sub-assemblies and each individual parts as cad file (ipt/iam - autodesk inventor 2017 (native), general cad formats - iges, step, sat, x_t, shop drawings dxf/dwg - including flat pattern for sheets, screenshots while developing, 3d pdf, bom list, etc)
