Looking for a Japanese-Spanish/English Interpreter/Fixer in Tokyo area for an Indie Doc Hey everyone! We are a small indie film crew from Spain heading to Japan to shoot a documentary called "Shokunin" (exploring when a craft or way of life becomes an art). We are looking for some local help on the ground! Dates: From March 25th to April 5th. (You don't need to be available every single day, we can work around your schedule). Location: Greater Tokyo Area / Chigasaki / Saitama. The gig: We need a bilingual speaker (Japanese and Spanish or English) to help us translate during a few key interviews. You'll be helping us communicate with some fascinating subjects, including a former yakuza boss who turned his life around. It’s going to be a very unique and raw shoot! Budget: This is a low-budget indie production, so we can't afford high-end corporate rates, but we pay a flat day rate (to be discussed). This is perfect for students, working holiday expats, or film lovers looking to make some extra cash and experience a cool set.
