I am a practicing pharmacist in Scotland however I've always had a passion for clothing and possibly starting my own brand. I came up with an idea for male clothing that would involve attaching carbon fibre on to male clothing garments such as sweaters, t shirts, shirts, jeans etc. No one has ever done this before and I believe this would help the brand. Since I have no skill in fashion or textiles or anything I'll try my best to describe to you what I'm thinking of. I aim to attach a carbon fibre piece of cloth to a sweater. The carbon fibre would be no larger than 1 inch x 0.5 inch it would be attached to either the cuff or the outer arm of the sweater for example. I'd like the clothing to feel luxurious and not cheap, adding to the carbon fibre look. I don't know if it is possible to actually weave carbon fibre into the stitching of the sweater, or if it would be better attaching it on via a small button/stud. I don't have a timeline in mind if it takes the idea a couple years to get it nailed down it takes that length of time, however I would like to do it as quickly as possible before someone else thinks of doing this.
