HIRING: VIDEO EDITOR ?​ ​ I’m looking for a video editor to edit, manage and repurpose video content to nurture my audience of nutrition coaches while collaborating with me on developing an ever-growing strategy to fuel engagement and reach the right people.​ ​ The right candidate will be able to take my raw, unedited video content (long and short form) ​ and…​ -Chop longer videos into shorter (60-120 second) clips for use on Facebook and Instagram​ -Edit YouTube videos with custom designed intro, “chapters”, cards, text overlay, movie clips, and end screens that are on brand and intended to hold the viewer’s attention​ -Add B-Roll into longer videos​ -Create branded and visually dynamic video thumbnails (for YouTube, FB and IGTV) -- not required but would be a bonus​ -Upload edited videos as “drafts” to YouTube Studio and Creator Studio​ -Create visual cohesion through understanding feed themes, balance, and editing - across all social platforms​ -Provide strategic feedback to increase watchtime, engagement, shareability, and reach​ ​ The right candidate should have experience with the following:​ -Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Spark​ -Adobe Photoshop or Canva for Thumbnail Design​ -Basic YouTube Strategy ​ ​ The right candidate would not be timid to make content suggestions. I want this person to feel empowered to hone their unique creativity to be inspired/inventive, and enjoy freedom to test new strategies without guidance or micro-management. The right candidate must be efficient, timely, and consistently planning ahead and communicating with me what raw content I must provide for the upcoming weeks. ​ ​ Lastly, the chosen candidate will have a vested interest in our message and the growth of our brand globally. They will understand and hone my voice, our brand energy and the vibe I want to portray. They will be able to do so without ongoing micro-management.​
