Video Storytellers needed across Africa (and beyond)

- Do you have an eye for a good story and can you tell stories in a super-engaging way? - Are you bubbly and confident? - Do you have a good voice? - Do you have great charisma? - Do you have a video camera or a good smart phone to record your story/stories with? - Are you happy to be seen and heard? If yes, we are looking for you. We are looking for video storytellers across Africa and beyond. People who can help us show the world (through their stories) the beauty of Africa and the African people. We say Africa *and beyond because even if you don't live in Africa but you have an African experience (e.g you attend an African cultural event outside Africa, or maybe you come across an African artist outside of Africa and you can make up an inspiring story from such an encounter), you could share that experience with us. Please get in touch if you are interested. Our budget is $50 per story. The duration of a story is dependent on content and can be anywhere between 2-5 minutes long. We can provide filming tips and guidelines, if necessary, but being able to identify and produce a good story in a creative way is even more important. If you can edit your video stories yourself, that's a plus but it's not a necessity. This is a vision that's close to our heart and we are looking for like-minded individuals who are keen to tell great stories about Africa and the African people; stories that can inspire other people and showcase places, people and things of interest across Africa. PLEASE provide a sample of any video that you've done in the past. Above anything else, we want to see what you look and sound like (as we are after confident storytellers/reporters). We would also like to see how good you are at producing stories.
