This project is to set up Quickbooks accounting system for a lawn care and snow removal business. We have been doing our internal invoicing through a software called gopher, use excel to maintain expense records and use an outside firm for payroll. We would like to transfer all of this to Quickbooks.
The goal of this project is to
1. Transfer our current customer base and invoicing from Gopher to Quickbooks
2. Set up an accounting system to track expenses and revenues.
3. Use the payroll features in Quickbooks to pay our workers.
4. Any other book keeping and tasks required for filing the companies tax returns through Quickbooks.
We are working with an accountant who can provide further structure of what needs to be filed in Quickbooks.
We imagine for a free lancer this might take a 2-4 weeks working about 10-20 hours a week to set up.
