Virtual assistant needed for online research, content creation/moderation activities for a portal. Activities will include but not limited to list given below. Looking for someone who is efficient in delivering work, tech-savvy, proficient in computer usage, good in communication, prompt in response. Candidate should have liking towards research/writing as it will be one of the recurring task. Please apply only if you have the skills mentioned below as we need you to feel enthusiastic about doing this work and we are looking for meaningful long term relationship. • Rate: USD 2/Hr. • Daily work: 2 Hours • Activities will vary on daily/weekly basis and will be regularly communicated Note: Suitable candidate may be awarded with a long term work with increased daily hours/higher rate. Please provide prior experience/references. Communication: VA will need to be available on skype/hangouts on regular basis in a predetermined timeslot for regular communication/updates etc. If some day, predetermined time does not work out, then VA will need to be prompt in communicating unavailability and responding to emails in a timely manner. Training: Training material/guidebook will be provided. VA will need to follow the instructions exactly as given. Responsibilities: • Online research of various products and sale etc. using various retailer or manufacturer websites or search engines, online forums etc. • Comparative analysis of information and report creation in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc. • Writing of small articles, reviews • Content creation/review/moderation and editing • Social Media posting (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and other popular sites) • Develop marketing material such as brochure or leaflets (Simple material only. Complex material will be outsourced to other professionals as needed.) • Sending daily status report / timesheet in the given format Skills needed: • Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic with positive attitude • Willingness to learn new areas and be able to take small initiatives/decisions to benefit the work assigned • Excellent oral and written communication skills is must • Excellent written English skills with understanding of writing keyword optimized articles • Excellent internet research skills • Good knowledge of using Social Media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and other popular sites • Understanding of hash tags, following profiles/pages/brands and knowledge of using various features on Social Media sites such as profiles, posts, pages, groups etc. is required • Deep interest in online shopping, sale, discounts, coupons is needed • Experience in online shopping, comparison shopping, window shopping is needed • Awareness of latest trends in shopping, online shopping is desired • Knowledge about various national and international brands/products in market, understanding of top selling products in various categories such as Electronics, mobile phone, fashion, cosmetics, appliances, clothing etc. • Basic understanding of online marketing is desirable • Basic graphic design skills required to develop some marketing material are desirable but not mandatory for this work
