We have the version 1 of the app here → [login to view URL] This contract is about taking version 1 code base and build version 2. Version 2 design of the app can be found here → [login to view URL] Version 2 is not only design change but also engineering and feature changes. From a performance standpoint version 1 its slow - clunky - buggy - does not look anywhere close to top performers like Lucidchart or Miro - We want our version 2 tool also to match the popular tools from a performance standpoint. We want to the tool to work on even a low configuration windows laptop. We want our whiteboard to be exported and imported using our own propriety format. We want our screenshot to be exported and imported using our own propriety format. Similar to how word doc can be saved and reopened and edited we want the same feature.

Hello, I went through your current Version 1 and the Figma for Version 2, and it’s clear this isn’t just a UI refresh but a full performance-focused rebuild to bring the tool closer to the responsiveness of Miro and Lucidchart. I’ve delivered similar upgrades before, including refactoring a collaborative canvas tool where I cut load times by 60% and implemented a custom JSON-based document format for import/export. The real challenge here is managing rendering efficiency, especially on low‑spec Windows machines, while supporting complex interactions. Most performance issues come from how the canvas reconciles movement, selection, and history. Fixing this requires restructuring how objects render, cache, and update rather than layering patches onto the existing logic. I’ll evaluate the current codebase, rebuild critical rendering workflows in React with lightweight state isolation, and design the proprietary export/import format so whiteboards and screenshots behave like re-openable documents. I’ll also align the interface to your Figma design and ensure compatibility across devices. Before starting, I need clarity on your preferred storage model and whether real-time collaboration is in scope. Best regards, John allen.

Hi, I saw your plan for pushing version 1 of the whiteboard into a faster, stronger version 2. The current issues with speed, bugs, and overall feel are clear, and the new Figma layout shows where you want the app to go. I’ve built several React-based tools that needed real‑time drawing, custom formats, and solid performance on weak hardware. Here’s how I’d approach it: • Rework rendering to remove bottlenecks • Add a whiteboard and screenshot format that can save, load, and edit cleanly • Align UI and flow with your Figma file • Harden the code so it feels closer to Miro/Lucidchart I can start right away and version 2 should take a few weeks depending on how deep the new features go. Do you already have constraints in mind for the custom file format, such as size limits or required object structure? Greetings, Slavko

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅Hi there, hope you are doing well! I have previously developed collaborative whiteboard applications with seamless real-time editing and proprietary file format support that worked smoothly on various hardware. The most important part to successfully complete this project is optimizing performance to ensure the app runs fast and reliably even on low-end Windows laptops. Approach: ⭕ I will thoroughly analyze your version 1 code and identify bottlenecks. ⭕ Implement the version 2 UI exactly as per your Figma design using React.js. ⭕ Rebuild the architecture and frontend logic for smooth, lag-free interactions. ⭕ Develop proprietary export/import formats for whiteboard and screenshot data. ⭕ Conduct rigorous testing for performance and bug fixes to match top tools like Miro. ❓ Could you please clarify what technologies or frameworks are used in the current backend, and if any existing backend code is to be reused? I am confident I can deliver a high-performance, user-friendly next-gen whiteboard app that exceeds your expectations. Looking forward to collaborating! Warm regards, Nam

Hi, I will rebuild the whiteboard on Canvas (react-konva or PixiJS) with viewport virtualization, implement the v2 Figma design, and ship a JSON proprietary export/import format with save-reopen-edit document semantics. Miro/Lucidchart performance comes from Canvas/WebGL with viewport virtualization, not DOM/SVG. DOM-based whiteboards hit a wall around 200-500 nodes; react-konva or PixiJS rendering only visible nodes is the path to v2 performance. Questions: 1) Max nodes on a low-config laptop? 2) v1 stack and how strict is rebuild parity vs greenfield from Figma? Ready to start whenever you are. Faizan

Hello [ClientFirstName], I hope you are doing well. I’m an independent developer with hands-on experience turning design into fast, reliable web apps. I’ve built collaborative drawing and canvas-based tools using React, WebGL where needed, and strong UI/UX polish to match top performers. I focus on clean architecture, performance optimizations, and a smooth editor experience that works even on lower-end laptops. For version 2, I’ll translate your Figma design into a highly optimized React frontend with a modular state model, efficient rendering for large canvases, and a robust approach to import/export using your proprietary formats. I’ll implement a performant export/import flow for both whiteboard and screenshot, plus reliable save/open semantics similar to word/docs, while ensuring a responsive UI that remains snappy on modest hardware. I’ll also cover cross-cutting concerns like offline capability, error handling, and test coverage to guarantee a smooth rollout. I can start right away and deliver a solid baseline quickly, followed by iterative refinements. Let’s discuss your priorities, data schemas, and hosting preferences so I can align the plan and milestones. Best regards, Billy Bryan

Hi, V1 feels slow and visually distant from Miro/Lucidchart; V2’s Figma spec targets sharp performance and precise exports. I see a need to strip heavy rendering paths, stabilize interactions on low-spec Windows laptops, and lock down a proprietary format for whiteboard and screenshot save/load cycles that behave like editable Word docs. Lets connect in chat so that we discuss further. Regards, Mohd Nadeem Khan

I can help you take your whiteboard app from the current V1 into a more powerful, next-gen collaboration tool. I’ve worked on interactive canvas applications before, including real-time drawing, shape tools, and smooth zoom/pan interactions that feel fast and intuitive. Previously, I’ve helped teams refactor early prototypes into scalable products, improving performance, UX, and code quality while keeping existing users in mind. I’m comfortable auditing an existing codebase, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing clean, maintainable improvements. My approach would start with a brief review of your current app at the provided link, clarify core priorities for this phase, then define a focused roadmap for feature upgrades, performance tuning, and UI/UX refinement. I would love to chat more about your project! Regards
