Scrape data and clean up data

I am a researcher interested in getting data to help with a research project. I have a file from Web Robots (available online at no cost) that has over 220,000 kickstarter projects listed with information. I need someone to scrape the kickstarter pages from the URLs listed in the document to pull down all text from the project page. I also need the Web Robot data to be cleaned up. The Web Robot data has country and city. I would like to have a program created to provide county information based off of the Web Robot data. Lastly, I would like information on voting by county (republican vs democratic) for the past two presidential races. Here is an outline of everything I will need: Variables to be scraped or just cleaned up on the document I already have: Category Subcategory Project Title Project Subtitle Project location Target launch date Campaign duration * Start date * End date Owner’s name Gender (if possible) Collaborators Country State City County (as discussed before, you will need to convert this somehow) Funding goal success (yes or no) Funding level requested (in USD and their home currency if international) Funding level obtained (in USD and their home currency if international) Home Currency Project URL Pre-launch page How many backers Spotlighted Staff pick Date the project became successful Rewards offered to backers (number and type) All text scrapped from the project URL (this variable is extremely important) Voting data per county and per state based on the last two presidential elections. I’m looking for a percentage of voters voting republican vs. democrat (and then the other minority parties) How many other projects this project owner has launched on kickstarter. I figured since we have all the files on all the projects, this would be an easy variable to figure out. Is the project being launched by one person or more than one person? This can be found by looking at the collaborator and project owner fields. Then you can create a new column that codes 1 for team and 0 for solo. Total budget is between $750 and $1,000.
