1. Select and research a suitable case study from the options provided. Attach the notes and links of your initial research for sources and resources, as an appendix to your assignment. 2. Describe the main features and issues in the case, explain your reasons for selecting this case and explain how it will enable you to apply a range of concepts introduced on the module. 3. Context for Intervention: detail who you are and the purpose of the investigation. You should create a fictional account of the context for your intervention (i.e. you could be a police officer in charge of a large-scale enquiry, or an investigative reporter tasked with making sense of data released on the web by undertaking forensic analysis) 4. Use a range of graphical or other appropriate models and concepts to explore, illustrate and make sense of the case study. You should provide an appropriate commentary to explain the reasoning behind your models; what you learnt and how they link together. 5. Imagine that you are a forensic practitioner embarking upon an investigation of your chosen situation at the point it was identified as worthy of analysis. Develop your own investigatory framework and justify its content and structure. 6. Discuss the analytical tools you have chosen for the investigation of your chosen case study and how they work together to create an analytical framework for presenting the investigator with useful results that are interpretable.
