I am planning the launch of a new website. To that end it has created a PowerPoint of several graphics’, thus:
We are seeking a web developer that can take the graphics and transform them into HTML/CSS. You may require knowledge of JavaScript, especially usage of JavaScript libraries such as “jQuery”, “jQueryUI”, and “Raphaël” for animation/interface aspects of the design. The website must be compatible with IE6, IE7, IE8, IE9; should be compatible as well on FF2 FF3, Chrome5, Chrome6, Chrome7, Opera, and Safari. The website should be able to render correctly under more modern mobile devices that support AJAX: ie, iPhone, blackberry, android.
Use of flash is acceptable only as a graphical enhancement of a page, not as the entire site, nor for any functional portions (navigation panes, content, etc..).
The website will be several parts, designed according to a provided series of images.
1. There will be a public site which may require jQuery enhanced navigation of some content areas.
2. There will be a secure site which is will be the user-side of a database. The server-side programming and much of the client-side programming will not be required, simply the graphical aspect of this component needs to be delivered in a way that it may integrate with the various jQueryUI elements, AJAX calls and DHTML loading. We may require a jQuery plug-in for a more simplified dialog box option than provided by jQueryUI.
3. We may require a blog service we can run on our domain.
The website must be up to recent web standards.
The website may not reduce our existing SEO.
