Award winning Melbourne city boutique restaurant seeks website designers

We are an award winning casual fine dining boutique restaurant located in the top end of Melbourne city. We are made up of a team proud of our high food and service standards people rave about. We are currently looking for experienced website designers with the below capabilities to give our website a facelift / refreshment on Squarespace in a timely manner. We have all the assets required, organised in folders and ready to start the project: - “People form an opinion of a business within 20 seconds of landing on its website. In that short amount of time, the website needs to tell visitors that the business is worth their time and money. We need to utilise the elements people look for in a website experience and create aesthetically pleasing websites that instill trust in visitors.” - Successful applicants must have STRONG design capabilities with deep understanding of Melbourne sentiments and our branding aesthetics, to build an attractive website to match the unique modern characteristics of the brand. The key to this project is more about design than building. Get the feel right. The management will be seeking the following: - Experience in Squarespace and prior work experience creating engaging websites for commercial venues. Most probably we will need to build a new Squarespace template as we couldn’t find any pre-made ones we liked. - Capable of building a website with features we need in the list below to turn the website to engage and convert. - A Melbourne based designer able to work face to face is preferred but not nessacity. Understanding of Melbourne sentiments and experience in building websites for professional Melbourne hospitality venues is preferred but not essential. Design scope: - Refresh our websites, both desktop and mobile ([login to view URL]) making a facelift / refreshment based on our current website design, using Squarespace. - Revision will take place after the homepage concept, before moving to inner pages, - The new website needs to have a modern aesthetic look, in line with our branding. - The website needs to be optimised for mobile, desktop and tablet, simple, friendly and responsive to use. - copy writing. - We are after a functional website, one which attracts, engages and converts. - Revisions, UI testing and training after design phase. Features need to have: - An easy structure for updating / adding / deleting things in the future. Easy to manage website with Drag and Drop Features. Able to edit content/products by ourselves. - Responsive design, optimised for Desktop, Mobile & Tablet - Incorporate booking system - Contact Form set up, Google Map Listing & Integration. PopUps, Newsletter subscription, - Social Media & blog Integration - Automatic Full Backup (Easy restore) - On page SEO Integration (be found on Google), Google Analytics Setup integration, site submitted to Google and Bing! - SSL Certificate Installation Thank you.
