coding is simple. SDLC is a different story. How do you manage your source code? How and where are your existing jobs/packages scheduled? How many packages are to be run? Sequentially or Concurrently? SLA or performance expectation? What system(SQL server, Oracle…, and version) hosts the sql table? What version of ssis server is used to hosts existing packages and the new package to be built? Existing SSIS package target server version? Where is the Excel hosted? Authentication method? Any security concerns? How do you plan to keep(and consume) the log?
