I am working on a project that requires an application which 1) collects the text data from .pdf files (text, handwritten info, image info) and uses the resulting text data to 2) form paragraph summaries from the text data and 3) answer questions from that same text data. The .pdf files the text data comes from can range up to 5000 pages. I'd prefer that the product to be downloadable/offline, Windows Compatible, and just able to be use on desktop/tablet computer only. Primarily to be used without online/internet access. Program needs simple, clear, effective, easy to use design.

hi there. do you simply want to extract data from the pdf? recognizing handwriting is tricky but can be done the same for image recognition. i.e ocr you going to have to explain a bit on the summaries thing though
