ABOUT THE POSITION AND WHO WILL BEST FIT IT
In our business, we know what matters is helping our customers to not only understand what the right strategy is, but to help them implement it in their business so they can grow.
Many of the changes we recommend (install this plugin, add this page, update this headline or image) may seem simple. However it is these simple changes that lead our customers towards having a stronger marketing foundation, one that allows them to more clearly communicate with their customers and cause sales.
This is where you come in. We have the strategy, but we need your help on the
technical side to install and setup certain plugins and tools for our customers.
We're looking for someone with a positive, customer-focused, and solutions oriented
attitude who can help us to regularly update customer websites and implement
tweaks on a weekly, on-going basis.
We want someone who is focused and stable and who enjoys working within
our process while also contributing in a positive way to the larger team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check daily for new tickets that are unassigned, or assigned to you in our customer support software
- Take action on tickets to implement or ask clarifying questions.
- Identify ways to streamline our implementation process to save time and deliver results for customers faster
- WP maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain professional and friendly communications with customers at all times.
- Keep customer data and login information confidential and secure using our encryption best practices.
- Clearly and constructively communicate with CEO or Action Assistant or Manager if you get stuck or need help with something.
- Learn and be open to learning new web apps, marketing software, and Wordpress plugins -- which we use and commonly integrate with customer's websites.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have an expert level proficiency in Wordpress, as well as some experience with Linux / server admin (most if not all of your work will be in Wordpress though)
- Must be available for team calls via video chat on Skype or Google+
- Able to contribute with positive, constructive ideas for how to improve your work process
- Must be available to work during normal work hours 9-5pm EST
- Able to Not a requirement but a plus: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Wordpress plugins like Thrive Themes, email marketing apps and other marketing software like LeadPages
- Customer focused but also able to follow specific directions every week via our checklists, templates, and other instructional media
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with good organizational skills
- Must have a customer & solution-oriented mindset
- Must be diligent and consistent
