I am unable to make a deposit
Refer to your respective deposit method’s section below on what to do if your attempts to deposit funds to your Freelancer.com account are failing.
Credit / debit card
Credit and debit cards with any of the following brands are accepted:
- American Express
- Dankort
- Delta Online
- Discover
- Visa
- JCB
- MasterCard
- Visa Electron
Make sure of the following in order for the deposit to be successful:
- your card’s correct details are provided on the deposit page,
- your card has sufficient funds for the deposit and processing fee*, and
- your card is enabled for online and international transactions.
If all of the mentioned conditions are met but you are still unable to make a deposit, contact your bank for assistance in authorizing the transaction.
*A fee of $0.30 USD + 2.3% (of the deposited amount) is incurred for deposits made using credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Skrill. Australian users incur a fee of $0.30AUD + 0.99% (of the deposited amount) for credit/debit card transactions.
Paypal
Your PayPal account has to have a funding source with sufficient funds linked to it before it can be used for deposits. You can use a credit/debit card or a bank account.
If your deposit still fails, contact your bank and PayPal Support for assistance.
Skrill
A Skrill deposit fails due to possible account restrictions. Contact Skrill Support for assistance.
