I grew up as a Third Culture Kid (TCK) & I began my professional life working as a journalist. I've worked in various newsrooms in the Middle East, the US, Hong Kong and a project in Uganda in all media formats. When I left 24/7 journalism I joined the world of non-profits, eventually worked my way into an Executive Director position where I was responsible for a small education-oriented non-profit for girls in three eastern African countries with a budget of $3M. After a decade in non-profits I decided to try my hand at a profit making enterprise. I built a new business in the Pet Care industry where the company was debt free in 9 months. For the next few years I handled the operations and all the MarCom. I sold this business after almost 6 years for 4x. Since then I've taken on projects of various sizes primarily helping new businesses and stagnant companies. I've helped them build business & marketing plans; did their research; and aspects of MarCom and some branding. Most recently have been proofreading and editing works of both fiction and non-fiction.
