Hey, my name is Eylan (Eye-Lan) I have three+ years of sales/sales management, two years of marketing, and close to one year of business development experience. I have always been fascinated with the human psyche: why we like what we like, why we do what we do, and most importantly why a stupid toy like a fidget spinner swept the nation in the middle of 2017. Anomalies like the latter are the reason I was drawn to this career path and the very reason I will stay in it. In mid 2020 I decided I needed to trust myself more and step out of my comfort zone, I quit my 60k+ a year job (managing a Verizon) and took to the streets to offer my sales services in whatever way possible as a contract worker for local businesses. Chris the recent owner of a food trailer took me under his wing. He showed me how to sell better than I ever have, market like no other, and build/keep a network of people within your life that are willing to help you when needed. Under his wing, I helped build his company from one trailer to three trailers in the span of eight months. I learned more than I ever have and it stuck. I finally decided that it was time for me to head off on my own and here we are. I have been contracted out by many other local establishments but not for very long, just enough to help with minimal marketing or goal setting to put them on a path they want to be on.
I am now working full-time as a freelance/contract employee. I can assure you I may not be your average freelancer with a headshot in a suit and tie, but I will exceed your expectations and drive you to look for the free spirit, like myself, more often when hiring.
How's that for a sales pitch? Serious question I am taking feedback and always willing to improve.
