Knowledge is being considered as one of the most important drivers of the economy today and shall continue to be so in future. Knowledge sharing is an engine that transforms knowledge into business value. The Purpose of this paper is to empirically examine the perceptions of private sector employees in Pakistan towards the importance of knowledge sharing and identify the initiatives that may encourage the knowledge sharing activities in organizations.

PERCEPTIONS OF PROFESSIONAL INVESTORS IN PAKISTAN ON THE USEFULNESS OF QUARTERLY REPORTS

Malaysian E Commerce Journal (MECJ)

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the perception of professional investors in Pakistan regarding the usefulness of quarterly reports of companies. This study provides evidence that the main purpose of quarterly reports according to professional investors, is to estimate the forthcoming annual results. The quarterly reports are also utilized for other purposes such as to evaluate the management performance and to ascertain turning points in earnings trend or liquidity.
