This is my final project for completion of my Bachelor Degree study in Bandung Technological Institute. The system is made from several slave device connected to a master via a multi-drop differential communication bus. Each slave consist of an infrared distance sensor, a microcontroller, lithium batteries, DC-DC converter, and communication converter. The master store athlete's data on SD card for later access.

The slave is mounted on tripod to provide height adjustment to match athlete's height. Then, the slaves are laid on track at determined interval. To ready the system, the athlete must step on a foot pad connected to the master. Timing start when the athlete release his/her foot from the foot pad. Every time the athlete pass in front of the slave, it reports a specific interrupt byte at the communication line. The master detect this byte and store the athlete's split time.

Runner's Speed, Acceleration, Endurance Measurement Device

This is one of the project I contributed in. The Nyilem is a remotely operated underwater vehicle designed for underwater surveillance and bedrock sample acquisition. Nyilem's chassis is constructed of lightweight nylon board mounted on aluminum tube. Six thruster on Nyilem provide five DOF movement. The thrusters are controlled by custom high-power DC motor driver connected to a microcontroller that receive command from the surface control center. Overall, Nyilem is able to operate at maximum 200 meter depth.

The name "Nyilem" is taken from Balinese language. It is Balinese for "dive", because the sole purpose of Nyilem is to dive.

In this project, I deliver solution for 48V to 12V high current DC-DC converter and long distance control link.
