CEDMAP achieves \'Skoch Financial Inclusion Award 2012\' Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Madhya Pradesh (CEDMAP) has been selected as the meritorious organization for Skoch Financial Inclusion Award 2012. CEDMAP\'s project is selected among the top 50 projects nominated out of a large number of entries invited from Banking and Financial Services Institution, Central and State Government Department, Industries, IT and Non-IT Vendors, System Integrators, Institutions, Civil Society etc. CEDMAP has been recognized for its best Training and Skill Development practices and providing Financial Inclusion Services for promoting inclusive growth and poverty alleviation from across Rural and Urban Madhya Pradesh. It\'s project-Placement Linked \'Indian Leather Development Programme\' (ILDP) \"HRD Mission\" a placement linked Skill Development Training Programme sponsored by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Government of India, has been selected out of the top 50 projects in India out of a large number of nominations received for the award this year. A certificate of merit has been conferred to CEDMAP during the Financial Inclusion Day Conclaves at New Delhi. CEDMAP\'s project will also be published as a case study by Inclusion Magazine. Executive Director, Shri. Jitendra Tiwari had also been invited to join as a distinguished panelist during the conclave. CEDMAP has successfully implemented and completed this project with the objective to uplift the leather segment by imparting trainings to un-skilled, semi-skilled artisans and workers associated in this sector and provide them placement opportunities which in-turn helped raise their earnings with an improved change in their living conditions.
