Research Scientist with software development experience looking to expand his horizons. I have many years writing software in C, C++ and Matlab and to a lesser extent in Python, Java, SQL, R and FORTRAN. I have used these languages in signal and image processing. I recently developed an algorithm which solved a major problem in the seismic survey industry and I have a patent for this. I also developed some key ideas for multispectral methods for the analysis of images acquired from electron microscopes. I have experience in the semiconductor and nanotechnology industries. I have some experience in relational databases (SQL) and XML, Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA and OOD). I speak reasonable German and French.
