I have a bachelor's of Music Education and taught music in an elementary school for 8 years. In 1998, I became director/principal of a new private school in our area. We moved to France in 2002 to work as musicians. After several years of that, I was hired by the French board of Education to help teach the English curriculum to primary school teachers. When my 2nd year contract was up, I was hired to take over J'apprends l'anglais. While working at this publisher, I also wrote articles and proofread other peoples' articles for accuracy. I have been doin this since 2008. In the meantime, we launched a 2nd magazine, this one for older children, called 'Go English Kids'. It's been going on for 2 years and the sales have been amazing and re-subscription rates exceeding the industry average. I write every word in the magazine, following the guidelines of the national curriculum but using current topics.
