PROJECTS HANDLED
Project # 1
Project Title: ‘Steganography – Hidden images in Bitmap’
Role: Team Member
Team Size : 2 persons
Environment: Microsoft Visual C++ (VC++)
Description: Steganography is the art of hiding secret text files or images in another image. Only the encrypt or decrypt ends can have the actual hidden image or text.
We had implemented the LSB (Least Significant Bit ) method which is proved to give 100% output without a single bit loss. We had also tried to implement the DCT (Discrete Cosine Transformation ) method which is not that much accurate & also having some of the data loss. DCT method is presently under research in the Image Processing field. The project was acclaimed as “Highly Recommended project of the class” as well as “Most Innovative Subject line” and also was exhibited in the annual function held on the independence day as a contributor from university.
Project # 2
Project Title: 3-D object generation from given 2 views (Isometric projection)
Role: Team Member
Team Size: 2 persons
Environment: C++
Contribution: The software was a simulator for generating various objects in 3-D from the given two views. It uses all the graphics algorithms to generate 3-D view from given two views. Software was very much useful for the architecture point of view. User has to specify the two views in the geometry & software will generate the 3-D view of the actual object in 3-D. Termed as ‘Best of all Projects’ during the semester.
Project # 3
Project Title: Prepared a Paint Brush application
