Three old friends and warriors from the East walk in on the three-sided conflict among the creeping Roman annexation of Judæa entering its final stages, the upper class Jews mustering all their formidable sycophantic skills in hopes of ending up as satraps instead of gibbeted on crosses, and the lower class Jews who've had quite enough of both of the other groups. It's unclear what awaits them all, but it seems someone will have to die.
