**Description**
**XQX provides a XML interface to access SQL databases using either HTTP or SOAP. It can be used from a web browser, a SOAP aware application or from any client that is able to talk either HTTP or SOAP that needs to access a relational database using XML. The web service can act in many forms, such as a front-end for relational databases, XSLT processor, or a dynamic web page builder, among other things.**
**XQX can be used in the following situations:**
- XML interface for accessing Relational DB’es
- Dynamic Site Builder using XSL transformations
- Hierarchical to Relational bridge
- SQL to XML bridge
- SOAP front-end for several relational DB engines
- Access to DB engines without installing painful client drivers
- SOAP interface for relational Databases, allowing small footprint devices such as J2ME and
Windows CE without installing drivers on the client.
- Uniform interface to many data sources, from MS Access to SQL Server using the same
interface.

A Dot net based B2B site, this pioneer project has demanded use of Dot Net technologies ( VB.Net and ASP.Net) to write offline and online applications to input data from multiple local databases ( MS-Access) into an online mother database (MS-SQL). Databases are synchronised, data can be imported and exported, data manipulation and communication can be done on the fly. The webserver used was IIS.

Description :
The Dr. Krash a crash detector and analyzer of software applications. It monitors applications that use it, and when a general protection fault, or any not handled exception occurs, it collects the necessary information and sends it to a specified location.
DrK is provided for the Windows, Unix and embedded platforms.
-Collects information about a target crash and generate an **XML** file representing the state of the system at the moment of the crash. This file will be sent to a central repository to be stored and processed through **SOAP (simple object access protocol)**.
- The agent have two modes of operation: Offline and Online. Online mode the agent sends the **XML** file using **SOAP** or similar protocol. Offline mode the files are stored locally and later transferred to another system to be send to the repository.
- ***The clients will be able to view reports of crashes sorted by: Project Name, Target Machine, Timestamp period, Process Name, etc.***
- Statistics of failure rate per Machine, Project or Application should be available.
- Conversion of Map files from a particular compiler vendor to XML provided.
-Help developers/testers to identify problems
- Help managers to identify "duplicated bugs". Yes, the system is able to analyzer the crash and check against the repository whether an identical defect has been logged, and automatically marks the last one as a duplicate.

- Security is given to access the central repository. Only authenticated "Agents" will be able to post crash data to a server repository.
