My objective is to provide quality work and gain commercial experience. Commercial Experience: Mar-2001 - Present Language Entertainment, Orlando, FL Lead Programmer * Working as lead programmer on an edutainment title. We developed this project utilizing the LithTech Talon game engine, VC++, ActiveX controls, MFC, Win32, Visual Basic, Access, and L&H Voice Recognition SDK. I manage 3 junior programmers and one senior consultant. This first person action/adventure game has incorporated voice recognition. The VR allows the player to communicate with the NPC characters using a list of choices and the actions of the NPC are determined by the response of the player. The player must follow through a complex story line, interaction with many different characters to complete the game. Oct-2001 - Jun-2002 [login to view URL], Longwood, FL Web / Windows Programmer * Worked with company to convert federal and state law listings from their proprietary format to HTML. This required that I create a file reader in VisualC++ to read in the files, locate the formatting tags and replace them with the appropriate HTML tags. I created a client side viewer to view and search the listings. I created an ActiveX control in Visual Basic to read in the HTML file and handle the search routines. After a search was completed it would return a file with the Search words highlighted through out the page. Apr-2000 - Oct-2001 [login to view URL], New York City, NY Web Programmer * Worked with company to develop their website using HTML, JavaScript, ASP, VB Script, ADO, and Oracle SQL. This site was created to provide database hosting for clients. We also build template based quizzes, and surveys that a client could add to their site. Worked as a subcontractor working on an email system, database design, and site programming for small companies who contracted [login to view URL] for services. Due to lower than expected earnings the company is no longer in business. 2000-Apr2000 Pangolin Laser Systems, Inc., Orlando, FL Programmer/Researcher * For this project I was asked to determine the feasibility of using Flash animations as a way of creating new laser light shows. I analyzed the Flash SDk to determine if I could produce the needed data from these animations. Once this was completed, I began work on creating a demo application that could take this data and pass it to the company control cards to generate the laser light shows. During the demo development the company canceled the project.
