My first Directorial effort, "Sink or Swim". made in 2008 on 16mm, was nominated for best student short at "Show me Shorts".
In 2010 I formed a small production company which works in corporate videos.
Our first original work was "Ollie" Which I Produced, Wrote, Directed.
"Ollie" won best narrative short at its first festival outing; as of August 2012 Ollie has screened in 14 festivals and been awarded:
nexTV Entertainments' Best Web Series/Pilot/Short Film - Drama 2011 (An industry run competition which aims to find works with the potential to be developed for U.S. Television)
Byron Bay International Film Festival 2012 - Best Short Film (Nominee)
Best Actor and Best Ensemble in a Short Film at The Actors Film Festival in Las Vegas.
The Best Actor nod went to 8 year old Fynn Ellison.
It really validates the time i spent working with him and is extra special as Best Child Actor in a Short is its own category within the Festival.
October 2011 - I traveled to Ethiopia to Direct a Documentary for NGO "Cause to Wonder".
The film documents magician Lisa Menna's journey to overcome cultural, social and religious barriers as she travels to remote villages and Indigenous tribes of the country. Planting the seed that "Helping Woman brings good luck".
Currently I am based in Melbourne and am developing several projects including;
A 13 part TV series based on the world of Ollie intended for U.S. Cable TV.
Two short films, a horror film and an experimental piece.
As well as attending RMIT, trying to finish my Degree (B Comm - Media)
