I am a CAD designer who is busy with his Mechanical Draughting Diploma looking for some extra work and extra money while I complete my studies. I am excellent at 3D and 2D design and if provided with the right details, pictures and measurements of the design or product you looking for, I can provide you with the best design files money can buy in any format you require, whether it be for 3D printing, laser cutting or engineers. i also have a full workshop of 3D printers at my disposal if you require test prints or you need the finished products printed for you and posted. I can also convert floor plans to 3D models for private and commercial properties I am excellent at designing in SolidWorks, but can use Inventor, SketchUp, Fusion360 and 123D Design.

I bid on this project on freelancer and won the bid. The client wanted a stool designed to be cnc cut out of birch plywood, that could flat pack. He sent me a design brief and we got started on the design work. The client was based in Japan and we worked together on the design until he was happy with it. I gave him advise on what would be the best and most cost effective way to make his product and worked this into my designs. We then went on to scale it down and 3D print it and then went on to a full scale prototype cut out of shutter ply, as this is cheaper for the prototyping phase. We then did some more design changes and I send him all the files he requested as well as the files he required for the cnc work to get the final products made. I have asked my client if I may post pictures of for my portfolio and have permission to post one picture. The picture is of the prototype and does not have all the finer details on it such as the edging and design patterns added
