My name is Todd Van Linda, a freelance Concept Artist and Illustrator based in West Palm Beach, Florida. I’ve been working full-time since 2010, with a foundation in traditional pencil and ink and a primary focus on digital painting in Photoshop. I specialize in narrative-driven illustration for publishing, music, and campaign work—projects where character, mood, and visual storytelling need to read instantly and hold together across formats. My work is built around: Strong, expressive character design Cinematic composition and controlled lighting Clear visual hierarchy that translates at both full size and thumbnail scale I don’t aim to be everything to everyone—I focus on delivering cohesive, purpose-built imagery that supports a specific use case (cover art, promotional visuals, narrative sequences). To quote a project effectively, I need: What you need created Quantity / scope Style or visual direction Intended use (cover, merch, campaign, etc.) Timeline Any reference material I am not the cheapest or the fastest, and I do not position myself that way. If you’re looking for low-cost or rapid output, there are plenty of options. If you’re looking for thoughtful, story-driven work that is built to represent your project clearly and professionally, you’re in the right place. *My proposal has some very plain language in regard to CHANGES and ADDITIONS.

Quick and easy to communicate with throughout the project. He had some good ideas to bolster what I wanted and was receptive to any changes I needed.

Todd's communication was great for what this project required. He listened to the details I gave him and made suggestions on what would make sense. Overall, his work was well done, and I would be happy to work with him again on future projects.

Todd is a great communicator. He listened to my ideas, and then they appeared on paper. His concept renderings for my characters were spot on, and the cover art is impressive. Highly recommend!

Let me bounce something off you. I heard it through the grapevine that there are over 25,000 idioms in the English language. That's straight from the horse's mouth. Now don't get up in arms or beside yourself as I spill the beans on the top 30 ones that will make you think something is fishy about this book. Take it with a grain of salt and don't think I'm off my rocker when I suggest that you use this book for your tank top as you bite the bullet and do your morning constitution.
