I am a researcher and writer with a doctorate in English. I am also a PhD tutor and English Language Instructor with eight years of teaching English and ESOL at all levels. Before teaching, I spent close to fifteen years in the USA, working as a freelance journalist and editor. In the past six years, I have been studying at Brunel University - first for a Masters in Creative Writing, and then for a PhD in English. I recently earned my doctorate after successfully defending my thesis and passing the Viva exam.
