Contest Brief

We demand a micro-scale graphic work for our client.

Our client operates in the field of real estate management - residential buildings. Some of his tenants refuse to receive unsolicited and unaddressed mail (junk mail, leaflets, flyers, etc.) in their mailboxes. For this reason, the tenants themselves label their mailboxes in various ways to inform the deliverer (postmen) that they have no interest in these mails. Mailboxes marked these ways affect the appearance of the whole entrance to the house - of course in negative way.

Therefore, our client requires creating a design of a small picture or an icon. With this picture in form of stickers he wants to label (mark) all mailboxes of those tenants who refuse to receive junk mail. The stickers will be affixed at the door of each mailbox. Explanation (annotation) of the icon for will be placed at the bottom of the whole block of mailboxes.

The door of each mailbox has a size of 37 x 260 mm. The ideal size of the label is 26 mm. The client prefers a circle or oval shape of sticker. The picture should be in information type, not prohibition type. The picture should be without text. Our client requires a decent, simple and professional appearance of the image. We did not find a suitable example. Deterrent example of how the image should NOT look is this http://www.featurepics.com/FI/Thumb300/20080924/Stop-Junk-Mail-Sign-908147.jpg or this http://www.no-junk-mail.co.uk/resources/Big%20Red%20No%20Junk%20Mail%20Sign%20-%20Sticker.JPG.

Sorry to everyone, we did not choose the winner of this contest in time, but unfortunately it was not possible for personnel reasons. At this time, the winner can not be selected because Freelnacer.com locked the contest and so we can no longer get to your entries. So we can not even choose the winner nor to use the winning design. We did not get simply anything for our money, but we firmly believe that at least one of you did. Thank you all for your participation.

No. 13 respects the requirements, but why is the letter among other banned items? The client also prefers proposals not similar to example.

There is also the second way to solve this: Do not design picture or icon for "blacklisted mail" (leaflets, flyers etc.), design picture for "whitelisted mail". We will explain it adequately in the explanatory notes below the mail boxes. See this for inspiration: http://static7.depositphotos.com/1000363/741/i/950/depositphotos_7412471-Mail-envelope-icon-button.jpg

Because your proposals do not lead in the desired direction, we tried again and found something close to our expectations (without text). See it at http://rlv.zcache.com/no_flyers_sign_round_sticker-r300c369798604e84a53fc4be33faa3ac_v9waf_8byvr_512.jpg

The desired image for stickers (labels) is intended for some of mailbox in the whole set of mailboxes in the walled blocks in residential houses. There is eg. 13 mailboxes (placed horizontally) in one walled block. The sticker will be placed on the small door, so it should be very small and very simple - more like a reference to the explanatory notes below mailboxes.
