Hausmaid is a house cleaning company in need of a awesome logo.
We believe that the freelancer community is a great place to start.
Show us what you got!
Create an awesome, outstanding, and unique logo for Hausmaid.
There's $750 of cold hard cash up for grabs!
Font & Colors - Modern Sans Serif, color is open. We are playing with the color coral.
P.s. the cleaning industry is know for tacky logos of maids with vacuums or dusters, lets think outside of the box on this one and get something completely original.
The logo needs to be extremely distinguishable, from others in the marketplace. Think of a solid graphic that can fit onto a sticker and be placed on a toilet paper roll, something that is eye catching and easy to remember.

Hi Campecha, the logo was clearly from a icon pack from shutterstock, it is against shutterstock policy to use ANY of there icons or pictures for logos rending the logo you developed unusable due to copyrights and infringements. Trust me, I wish this wasn't true I already have ordered prints at a cost of over $1000.00, that is not refundable. Stealing work is unacceptable, and could have cost me thousands more later down the road due to lawsuits or cease and desist that would force rebranding. Again, highly unprofessional and very sad as a designer to see another designer use such materials.

oh yeah! That should be banned by freelancer :D it sickens me every time I see one of those, but the bigger problem is that so many contest holders love those overused, generic, boring designs....

Ouch! that is truly disappointing and even appalling! I kind of liked the concept myself, and now to see how it was created.... Sad! Should we all doubt our works now? If a designer with quite a good reputation on freelancer does such a mistake. Sorry for the complications you have to deal with, John. Our designs are at your disposal, and you can take as much time as you want to check on their authenticity, before you decide to sign the handover agreement. One tip that might be helpful, is to unseal the contest after all the designs have been submitted and the contest has deadline has expired, but before choosing a winner. That way all the participants will contribute to finding out whether or not an entry is original. Good luck!

I find it amazing that I have retired from competition because they say I've done plagiarism, I want to make clear that I have done so at any time. When a designer makes a logo different tools weapon of them are your resources, it is clear that I have used resources shutterstock me not ashamed (buy resources). I think a lack of judgment that I removed this aspect of it.
I hope that this incident solvent since I have not missed any rules of the competition and have had the same opportunities as anyone, if you think it is unethical to use vectors shutterstock believe then say that the arguments and criticized for simply because no winning is not a professional review.- 9 years ago

...it has nothing to do with what we think, it´s simply about sticking to the rules or can you honestly say you don´t have that little hook which states that it´s your own work? If you don´t understand the rules let someone who does explain them to you.
